President

Jamal Nasir

HEAD OF HR & OD (HABIB BANK LTD)

Jamal Nasir is the Chief Human Resources Officer at HBL, Pakistan’s largest commercial bank. He has 30 years of professional experience; prior to joining HBL, he was the Senior Executive Vice President & Group Executive HR at United Bank Limited. He has worked with Standard Chartered Bank as Head of HR for Pakistan and Head of HR for South Asia. He later relocated with Standard Chartered Bank to Singapore into the role of Head of HR for South East Asia and then Senior HR Manager for Asia. Prior to working with Standard Chartered Bank, Jamal was also the Country Head Human Resources at ABN AMRO, Pakistan and also has 10 year’s work experience at Exxon Chemical / Engro in various HR and Engineering roles.

Ms. Fariha Salahuddin

HEAD HR (ICI PAKISTAN)

Fariha Salahuddin is working as a highly resilient and energetic HR professional whose passion for HR drives her to stay positive under all circumstances. This has given her the focus to be highly successful in her field as well as give back to her HR community. She is an accomplished commercially focused global HR leader, with deep expertise in analyzing organizational needs; Designing and implementing practical and innovative HR strategies. She has 20+ years of success with high-profile multinational companies, has led all aspects of human resource function locally, regionally and globally. She has had the privilege of making a difference at large organizations that include companies such as GSK, Citibank, Unilever, ABN AMRO and Mölnlycke. Specialised in human relations she did her masters in ‘human resource development’ and then went for her second masters where she did a thesis on ‘stress at work’. She is currently pursuing Global Fellowship from Talent Management Institute – Wharton Business School. Truly international – effective in connecting and understanding HR issues, providing high business impact solutions across mature or developing markets Originally from Pakistan, Fariha has lived in US, UK, Turkey, Singapore, and Sweden and travelled more than 35 countries.

Mr. Hasan Adnan Ahmed

HR DIRECTOR (COCA COLA BEVERAGES PAKISTAN)

With over twenty years of global experience in HR and an in-depth understanding of international business and emerging markets. Hasan joined CCI Pakistan in May 2016 as Director Human Resources. He has a proven track record of building teams and start-ups, and transforming company culture. Earlier, Hasan has also spent 16 years with British American Tobacco where he started his career as a Global Management Trainee after completing his MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. He is an accredited Executive Coach and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

Mr. M. Naukhez Arslan

HEAD OF SAP SERVICES (SIEMENS PAKISTAN)

A seasoned, pragmatic and astute professional, having 30 + years of multi-dimensional experience in a variety of leadership roles of strategic importance. Currently he is leading Siemens SAP business in Pakistan with complete P&L responsibility which is a major area of growth. In his last role as Head of HR of Siemens Pakistan and Afghanistan, he spearheaded the organizational change and facilitated development of lean and profitable organization by creating an environment conducive for people’s development, talent management and achieving restructuring goals.

Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Dalia

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER AND COMPANY SECRETARY (K ELECTRIC LIMITED)

Rizwan is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Certified Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. A seasoned HR, Finance and Corporate Governance Professional with having more than 2 decades of experience in professional organization such as PwC, PSO and K Electric. Rizwan started his career with A. F. Ferguson & Co (a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers) and served Pakistan State Oil, in various capacities in Finance function between 2001 and 2007. Currently working at K-Electric Limited as CPO & Company Secretary, the only integrated private utility company in Pakistan. While working in various capacities at senior levels in Finance and Corporate Affairs functions since 2008.

Mr. Rizwan Masood Raja

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER AND SVP (ENGRO CORP)

Rizwan Masood Raja joined Engro Corporation as SVP & Chief People Officer in February 2019, his experience spans over 25 years. He was with Standard Chartered Bank for over 15 years and prior to that, with Jaffer Group for 9 years. He has held multiple senior roles within HR with a focus on Retail Banking, SME Business, Financial Crime Compliance & Talent Acquisition across strategic markets such as Pakistan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan and South Korea.

Rizwan was serving as the Managing Director and Head of HR for Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Greater China and North Asia, at SCB. Always driven by new challenges, he was instrumental in developing and delivering projects on strategic workforce planning, leading multiple Transformation projects related to client-centricity & digitalization for Retail Bank, and being part of the Global HR transformation’s design team. One of the key achievements was the successful buildup of the Virtual Bank in Hong Kong; a first for SCB globally. As the Chief People Officer at Engro, Rizwan is responsible for providing strategic direction and overall leadership on People function and enabling its transition to a more holistic “People” orientation, with “Culture” informing behaviors. His primary focus is to implement integrated People-First framework to enable transformation across Engro Corp and Subsidiaries; Talent Development with Strong Governance, robust operations and dynamic people policies & guidelines.

Rizwan speaks regularly at various forums on topics close to his heart, such as future of work & evolution of HR function in the digital age. He is passionate about community development and is an avid cricketer.

Ms. Pouruchishty Sidhwa

CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (TELENOR MICROFINANCE BANK)

Ms. Pouruchisty Sidhwa is a Senior Human Resource Professional having over 3 decades of broad‐based experience in Leadership roles in Banking, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Textiles and Food. She possesses business analytics, strong controls, good governance and excellent people management skills to contribute to the organizational growth and development. She has worked on various transformation and operational excellence related projects. Has also worked on Mergers and Acquisitions from the People perspective. Her strength lies in her understanding of the business and formulating policies round the same while keeping the numbers game in check. She is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer Telenor Microfinance Bank. She is Bachelor of Commerce from University of Karachi. She is a Board Member of the Pakistan Society for Human Resource Management, a member of Pakistan Society for Training and Development and an Advisor on Pakistan Human Capital Forum.

Mr. Shah M Saad Husain

RETD CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (HASCOL)

Mr Shah Saad Hussain has extensive experience spanning over four decades in senior level management positions. He is also highly regarded in academic circles and has taught courses since 1984 in reputable academic institutions such as IBA, LUMS and CBM. His in-depth experience along with academic acumen makes him much sought after by companies looking to design and lead management programs.

He recently retired as Chief HR Officer and Head of Administration in HASCOL Petroleum. Prior to this he was the General Manager Corporate Affairs in Pak Arab Refinery. Mr. Shah Saad was in Indus Motor Company for ten years in capacity of Director Marketing, Directing HR and Director Corporate Planning. He has also served as the General Manager Corporate Affairs for nine years in Pak Arab Refinery. Before this he led Indus Motor Company for ten years as Director Marketing, Director HR, and Director Corporate Planning. For ten years before that he was the General Manager for BHP Billiton the largest Australian natural resource and Petroleum Company. He also worked in British Petroleum Company as General Manager for four years. He has over seven years of experience in Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation as Planning Manager and Chief Engineer.

Mr. Shah Saad completed his MBA from IBA. He then went on to do his Bachelors in engineering and then Masters in Engineering from USA.

Ms. Tazeen Shahid

CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (JUBILEE LIFE)

Tazeen Shahid has experience spanning over seventeen years in HR positions, she joined Jubilee Life as Chief Human Resource Officer in 2019. Prior to this she was in BASF as General Manager of Human Resources, she also worked in Center of Excellence South Asia- Learning & Development. She was responsible for talent acquisition for Pakistan, UAE and Bangladesh.

She also worked for developing recruitment strategy in line with business strategy, talent sourcing, successful planning, headcount budgeting and analytics. She is also an authority on contract negotiations and new vendor instructions. In BASF she led the Diversity and Inclusion initiative that aims to increase employee engagement and retention. Tazeen worked for UBL for Talent Management and Development.

Tazeen also served as Head of Recruitment and Relationship strategy in MCB, she was responsible for talent acquisition cycle and translating business goals into talent strategy. She was responsible for reviewing and updating bank with HR policies and also capability development, successful planning and development of robust talent pool and for formulating HR initiatives to support business goals and strategy. She has also worked at Standard Chartered Bank as Manager Total Rewards and was responsible for bank wide performance management, employee payroll and end of service benefit and total rewards strategy. She was the country Lead and product manager for Q12 Gallup Engagement Survey for Pakistan and conducted country wide workshops and sessions to coach managers in building effective and productive teams. She also served as HR Business Partner. Her role was to align HR policies and practices with that of Group and SCB Pakistan.

Ms. Himra Mursil

HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR (RB)

Himra Mursil is a determined HR professional who consistently raises the bar & rallies the team to achieve stretch goals. Strong track record of enabling teams to deliver business results & consistently moving up the organization ladder in large Fortune 500 organizations. She has worked with Multinational companies as Unilever for more than 3 years, Coca Cola Icecek form almost 2 years.
Seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, performance management, change management, employer value proposition, talent management & development, capability development, IR, coaching & mentoring, business partnering, leadership & above-market roles. Himra has a deep knowledge of Asia-Pacific markets in line & matrix roles.
She has also worked with GSK for almost 4 years, was at BASF for 2 years, wide-ranging involvement as a top team member in cross-functional projects including Operations, Corporate affairs, Revenue Management, Diversity & Change Management. Handled assignments in markets beyond Pakistan & been acknowledged as high potential at all stages of professional life.
Himra Mursil is currently the Human Resource Director at RB for more than a year now.
