Jamal Nasir is the Chief Human Resources Officer at HBL, Pakistan’s largest commercial bank. He has 30 years of professional experience; prior to joining HBL, he was the Senior Executive Vice President & Group Executive HR at United Bank Limited. He has worked with Standard Chartered Bank as Head of HR for Pakistan and Head of HR for South Asia. He later relocated with Standard Chartered Bank to Singapore into the role of Head of HR for South East Asia and then Senior HR Manager for Asia. Prior to working with Standard Chartered Bank, Jamal was also the Country Head Human Resources at ABN AMRO, Pakistan and also has 10 year’s work experience at Exxon Chemical / Engro in various HR and Engineering roles.

Currently working at K-Electric Limited as CPO & Company Secretary, the only integrated private utility company in Pakistan. Rizwan Masood Raja joined Engro Corporation as SVP & Chief People Officer in February 2019, his experience spans over 25 years. He was with Standard Chartered Bank for over 15 years and prior to that, with Jaffer Group for 9 years. He has held multiple senior roles within HR with a focus on Retail Banking, SME Business, Financial Crime Compliance & Talent Acquisition across strategic markets such as Pakistan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan and South Korea.
Rizwan was serving as the Managing Director and Head of HR for Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Greater China and North Asia, at SCB. Always driven by new challenges, he was instrumental in developing and delivering projects on strategic workforce planning, leading multiple Transformation projects related to client-centricity & digitalization for Retail Bank, and being part of the Global HR transformation’s design team. One of the key achievements was the successful buildup of the Virtual Bank in Hong Kong; a first for SCB globally. As the Chief People Officer at Engro, Rizwan is responsible for providing strategic direction and overall leadership on People function and enabling its transition to a more holistic “People” orientation, with “Culture” informing behaviors. His primary focus is to implement integrated People-First framework to enable transformation across Engro Corp and Subsidiaries; Talent Development with Strong Governance, robust operations and dynamic people policies & guidelines.

Mr Shah Saad Hussain has extensive experience spanning over four decades in senior level management positions. He is also highly regarded in academic circles and has taught courses since 1984 in reputable academic institutions such as IBA, LUMS and CBM. His in-depth experience along with academic acumen makes him much sought after by companies looking to design and lead management programs.
He recently retired as Chief HR Officer and Head of Administration in HASCOL Petroleum. Prior to this he was the General Manager Corporate Affairs in Pak Arab Refinery. Mr. Shah Saad was in Indus Motor Company for ten years in capacity of Director Marketing, Directing HR and Director Corporate Planning. He has also served as the General Manager Corporate Affairs for nine years in Pak Arab Refinery. Before this he led Indus Motor Company for ten years as Director Marketing, Director HR, and Director Corporate Planning. For ten years before that he was the General Manager for BHP Billiton the largest Australian natural resource and Petroleum Company. He also worked in British Petroleum Company as General Manager for four years. He has over seven years of experience in Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation as Planning Manager and Chief Engineer.
Mr. Shah Saad completed his MBA from IBA. He then went on to do his Bachelors in engineering and then Masters in Engineering from USA.

Tazeen Shahid has experience spanning over seventeen years in HR positions, she joined Jubilee Life as Chief Human Resource Officer in 2019. Prior to this she was in BASF as General Manager of Human Resources, she also worked in Center of Excellence South Asia- Learning & Development. She was responsible for talent acquisition for Pakistan, UAE and Bangladesh.
She also worked for developing recruitment strategy in line with business strategy, talent sourcing, successful planning, headcount budgeting and analytics. She is also an authority on contract negotiations and new vendor instructions. In BASF she led the Diversity and Inclusion initiative that aims to increase employee engagement and retention. Tazeen worked for UBL for Talent Management and Development.
Tazeen also served as Head of Recruitment and Relationship strategy in MCB, she was responsible for talent acquisition cycle and translating business goals into talent strategy. She was responsible for reviewing and updating bank with HR policies and also capability development, successful planning and development of robust talent pool and for formulating HR initiatives to support business goals and strategy. She has also worked at Standard Chartered Bank as Manager Total Rewards and was responsible for bank wide performance management, employee payroll and end of service benefit and total rewards strategy. She was the country Lead and product manager for Q12 Gallup Engagement Survey for Pakistan and conducted country wide workshops and sessions to coach managers in building effective and productive teams. She also served as HR Business Partner. Her role was to align HR policies and practices with that of Group and SCB Pakistan.
