Taking the Society’s HR Development Program further, a speaker session was organized with Dr. Ishrat Husain, Dean & Director Institute of Business Administration.
Attended by members of PSHRM & guests belonging to the corporate world, Dr. Ishrat started by emphasizing the role of HR and its impact on business.
During his talk, Dr. Ishrat shared his experiences of working with HR as strategic partners in molding organizations and its previous culture and taking it towards a new vision.
Dr. Ishrat shed light on his experiences from the State Bank of Pakistan and emphasized the importance of the HR function. He concluded his talk with the final thought that HR and other corporate executives need to work together as a team for the upliftment of the organization.
He left the floor with a Q/A session, inviting an invigorating discussion on the banking policies of Pakistan and the development of foreign investment in the country.
Such sessions bring together professionals to learn from each others’ experiences and develop organizations on the whole.
