Amin started her career in the field of Information Technology with a
pharmaceutical company based in UK. On her return home she joined Shell
Pakistan Ltd, (formerly Pakistan Burmah Shell) in the area of IT, where
she spent building her career for almost 10 years. In 1995 she made a
career switch into Human Resource. Barely a year into her role she was
seconded to Shell Gas (formerly Burshane) as HR Manager . Her primary
objective in this organisation was to drive Change, establish a professional
HR function and implement Shell Best Practices.
After about 18 months in 1998 she returned to her parent company Shell
Pakistan where she was given the role of Human Resourcing and Development
Manager. In March 2001, after a long tenure in the energy sector, she
moved into the consumer goods sector where she joined Reckitt Benckiser
Pakistan Limited as Human Resource Director . In October 2003 she was
promoted to the position of Regional Human Resource Director and is currently
responsible for the Africa Middle East Region.
