Head Human & Organizational Development
Jamal Nasir is the Head Human & Organizational Development at HBL. He has over 25 years of professional experience.
Prior to joining HBL, he was the Senior Executive Vice President & Group Executive HR at UBL.
He has worked with Standard Chartered Bank as Head of HR for Pakistan and Head of HR for South Asia. He later relocated with Standard Chartered Bank to Singapore into the role of Head of HR for South East Asia and then Senior HR Manager for Asia. Jamal was also the Country Head Human Resources at ABM AMRO. He started his career with Exxon Chemical / Engro where he held various HR and Engineering positions.
He has been the President for the Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management since 2012.
Jamal Nasir is a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from IBA, Karachi.

Khalid Zaman Khan is the Vice President of Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management since 2012. However, he has been an Executive Member of the Society since 2010.
Khalid is an HR veteran with almost 15 years of professional experience as a Human Resource Professional. He has been working as the Head of Human Resources at HSBC Bank Middle Limited since 2005.
Prior to HSBC, he was working in Karachi Stock Exchange as Head of Human Resources in 2003 where he was involved as a member the Team which initiated a reformation in the capital market through the funding Asian Development Bank. He started his career in HR as a Management Trainee with Commercial Union, a UK based Insurance Company, in 1996.
Khalid has obtained a degree in Public Administration and Business with specialization in HRM.

Syed Zulfiqar Ali is the Treasurer for Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management since 2012. However, he has been involved with the Society as an Executive Member since 2010.
He is currently working as Head of Human Resources at GEO Television Network for the past 9 years where he is responsible for visualizing and conceiving GEO's HR mission, alongwith developing, shaping and implementing HR strategies.
In the field of HR, he is the first Pakistani ever to receive HRD Congress MENA Award in the category of HR Community as a token of acknowledgement for his professional excellence and services.
Before GEO TV Network he worked for FedEx Pakistan as Country Manager Operations and Customer Services.

Fathema has a Master’s degree from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi .During her 22 years with the company, she has held various commercial roles in the paints Business and the Chemicals Business as well as having managed specialist areas of Corporate Communications and Human Resources .She is on the Board of the Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management as well as Pakistan Society for Training and Development and a Trustee of the ICI Pakistan Foundation.

Pouruchisty Sidhwa is the Director Human Resources & Administration for Shan Foods Private Ltd. She leads the Global HR function looking after the Local as well as the International Business. She joined the company in January 2016.
Pouru has an overall experience of 28 years having spent 22 years in the banking industry and having worked for HSBC, Citibank and The Royal Bank of Scotland. Her last assignment was at GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd where she was the Director Human Resources for Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. She has spent the last 12 years in the HR discipline after having spent large stints in Finance, Operations and Risk Management.
Pouru is career oriented and believes that every woman should be able to stand on her feet and achieve whatever she can in their personal capacity. She is smart, cheerful and witty with a positive attitude towards life.

Mr. Saad has over 39 years’ experience with multinational, private, and government organizations in HR, Project Management, Marketing, Corporate Planning, HSE, and CSR.
Prior to joining HASCOL Petroleum in February 2016 as CHRO, he was GM HR & Corporate Affairs in PARCO from 2008. Earlier worked for 10 years with Indus Motor Company, the joint venture of Toyota Motor Corporation and House of Habib, as Director HR, Director Marketing and Director Corporate Planning & Customer Relations. Before that, was General Manager BHP heading its operations in Pakistan for 10 years and General Manager in British Petroleum (BP) for 3 years. Also Chief Engineer and Planning Manager in PIDC for 6 years.
Mr. Saad has been the visiting faculty at IBA and CBM for the past 31 years. He has also conducted courses at PIQC, PIM, NIPA, and LUMS focusing on HR, General Management, Japanese Management, Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing, Industrial Marketing, Customer Ascendancy and Customer Relations..
Shafaq joined Unilever Pakistan in 2013. She is the HR Director, based out of Karachi.
Shafaq, a gold medalist from Kinnaird College and an MBA of LUMS '98 started her career in HR with Nestle Pakistan in Lahore where she joined as a Management Trainee. Her last position before leaving Nestle was Recruitment & Development manager. Shafaq then moved to Karachi with her family and re entered the workplace with short stints in consultancy and a financial services company where she was heading HR for the IGI group. After that she joined a large local Conglomerate, Engro Corporation where she headed HR in both their foods business and the parent company. From there Shafaq moved on to become the Head of HR at Royal Dutch Shell Pakistan which was her most recent position before Unilever. Shafaq holds a Board position at PSHRM and TAFF.
Kanwer is a dreamer, an authentic leader, an inspirational coach and one of a kind facilitator. Currently a Managing Partner at Ascend Development, he has over two decades of experience in shaping up ‘people’ strategies to tackle unique and dynamic challenges at leading companies. Prior to founding Ascend Development, Kanwer has headed Human Resources for Engro Foods & Engro Fertilizer and previously he was with Unilever Singapore in the capacity of Talent Director for Asian Geography.
Kanwer utilizes his unique leadership style to bring out the best in people and in organizations. It is his personal mission to make a difference in the lives of others by empowering them to grow professionally and emotionally through first coming to terms with their authentic selves.
He is deeply passionate about helping the HR profession and fraternity grow in Pakistan, and is currently the VP of PSHRM and a Board Member at PSTD.

Mohammad Naukhez Arslan is an Executive Member of the Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management since 2012.
A seasoned professional with sound experience in leading a team of HR specialists and generalists to provide balanced/ efficient HR services to the business, Arslan is currently the Head of Human Resources at Siemens Pakistan since 2010.
Arslan has developed a career at Siemens, having been with the organization for more than 20 years.
He has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from NEDUET 1988.
